Weev partners with Hospitality Ulster
Belfast-based EV infrastructure company Weev has joined Hospitality Ulster as an official partner.
Belfast-based EV infrastructure company Weev has joined Hospitality Ulster as an official partner, announcing an exclusive EV charging offer for members.
Hospitality Ulster is a non-profit membership body that represents and supports hospitality businesses across Northern Ireland.
Members of Hospitality Ulster will be eligible to avail of a limited time deal which includes the free installation of Weev chargers at business premises, along with a 15-year commitment from Weev to install, manage, maintain and upgrade this charging infrastructure.
Weev Chief Commercial Officer Thomas O’Hagan said:
“At Weev we believe that EVs represent the future of driving, and as the popularity of these vehicles grows there is an obvious need to expand Northern Ireland’s charging network to facilitate demand.
“For businesses within the hospitality sector, the installation of EV charging points presents a valuable opportunity to enhance their customer offering by providing an essential service.
“We are very pleased to partner with Hospitality Ulster and look forward to working with members to install Weev charging points at restaurants, cafes, hotels and bars across Northern Ireland to support the future growth of our hospitality industry.”
This news follows the the recent announcement that Weev has installed new electric vehicle charging points at The Valley Hotel Fivemiletown as part of its Northern Ireland network expansion.
Weev plans to install,500 new charging points before the end of 2024 at over 350 locations across Northern Ireland, investing £20 million to help address the paucity of charging infrastructure available across the region.
