grant option 1

Renters and Flat Owners Grant

As an OZEV Approved Installer (Office for the Zero Emission Vehicles) Weev can supply and install EV Charging for those who An electric vehicle (EV) chargepoint grant can help towards the cost of installing an electric vehicle chargepoint socket at your property.

75% off the cost to buy and install a socket, up to a maximum of £350.

own or rent

You must own and live in a flat rent any residential property (this includes properties under the shared ownership scheme)

private parking

You must own an eligible vehicle and your home must have its own private off-street parking space.

EV Chargepoint and Infrastructure Grant for Landlords

There are two grants you can get for installing chargepoints for electric vehicles at a property you own.

Chargepoint grant

An EV chargepoint grant gives you money off the cost of installing an electric vehicle chargepoint socket.

You can get 75% off the cost to buy and install a socket, up to a maximum of £350 per socket.

200 grants a year

You can receive up to 200 grants a year for residential properties, and a further 100 for commercial properties.

Infrastructure Grant

An EV infrastructure grant gives you money off the cost of wider building and installation work that’s needed to install multiple chargepoint sockets. The work can be for sockets you want to install now and in the future. For example, an EV infrastructure grant can cover things like wiring and posts. You cannot apply for the infrastructure grant if you’re a commercial landlord.

75% off the cost of the work up to a maximum of £15,000. The amount depends on how many parking spaces the work covers.

Up to £500 per parking space enabled with supporting infrastructure

30 grants a year

You can receive up to 30 grants each financial year for installing infrastructure in residential carparks.

Workplace Charging Scheme for state-funded education institutions

This grant is for state-funded schools and education institutions to install electric vehicle chargepoint sockets at their site(s). Installations usually cost around £1,500 to £2,500, depending on the area and type of installation.

EV infrastructure grant for staff and fleets

This grant is for small and medium-sized businesses. An EV infrastructure grant gives you money off the cost of wider building and installation work that’s needed to install multiple chargepoint sockets.

The work can be for sockets you want to install now and in the future. For example, an EV infrastructure grant can cover things like wiring and posts.
