grant option 1

EV Infrastructure Grant for Staff and Fleets

This grant is for small and medium-sized businesses. An EV infrastructure grant gives you money off the cost of wider building and installation work that’s needed to install multiple chargepoint sockets.

The work can be for sockets you want to install now and in the future. For example, an EV infrastructure grant can cover things like wiring and posts.

Up to £500 per parking space enabled with supporting infrastructure

You can receive up to 5 grants across 5 different sites.

grant option 2

Depot Charging Scheme - Limited Time Only!

This grant is for registered fleet operators who operate in the UK and have been doing so for over 1 year. Fleet operators can access up to a total of £1 million across all sites throughout the UK.

This grant is only available until November 25 with all works to be installed by March 26.

The Department will fund up to 75% of eligible costs, up to a total of £1 million across all sites

Chargepoints

There is NO limit on the number of chargepoints or kW limit of each chargepoint.

Electric Vehicle

The business must own or have at least 1 BEV, HGC or coach as part of your fleet.

Grid Capacity

Weev can conduct a site assesment to determine MIC for each depot to decipher which sites are suitable for adding EV charging to meet funding timeframe.

Renters and Flat Owners Grant

As an OZEV Approved Installer (Office for the Zero Emission Vehicles) Weev can supply and install EV Charging. An electric vehicle (EV) chargepoint grant can help towards the cost of installing an electric vehicle chargepoint socket at your property.

You must own and live in a flat rent any residential property (this includes properties under the shared ownership scheme)

private parking

You must own an eligible vehicle and your home must have its own private off-street parking space.

EV Chargepoint and Infrastructure Grant for Landlords

There are two grants available for installing EV chargepoints for electric vehicles at a property you own.

1. Chargepoint grant

An EV chargepoint grant gives you money off the cost of installing an electric vehicle chargepoint socket.

You can get 75% off the cost to buy and install a socket, up to a maximum of £350 per socket.

200 grants a year

You can receive up to 200 grants a year for residential properties, and a further 100 for commercial properties.

2. Infrastructure Grant

An EV infrastructure grant gives you money off the cost of wider building and installation work that’s needed to install multiple chargepoint sockets. The work can be for sockets you want to install now and in the future. For example, an EV infrastructure grant can cover things like wiring and posts. You cannot apply for the infrastructure grant if you’re a commercial landlord.

75% off the cost of the work up to a maximum of £15,000. The amount depends on how many parking spaces the work covers.

Up to £350 per chargepoint socket installed

Parking Spaces

Up to £500 per parking space enabled with supporting infrastructure

30 grants a year

You can receive up to 30 grants each financial year for installing infrastructure in residential carparks.

Workplace Charging Scheme for Schools

This grant is for state-funded schools and education institutions to install electric vehicle chargepoint sockets at their site(s). Installations usually cost around £1,500 to £2,500, depending on the area and type of installation.
