Here are our simple steps to get you charging at home:
Choose your charger - tethered or untethered
In the simplest of terms, a tethered charger comes with a cable attached to it (usually rolled up beside or around it). Untethered comes without a cable so you will just use the one that your vehicle comes with. That’s really all there is to it. If you’re not sure which is best for you, our team can advise.
Choose your location
Where is the best location at your property to charge your vehicle? Is it at the side of a garage, beside your front door or as a stand alone location? Have a look at your property and choose a spot that is free from obstruction and that you will be happy to park your car.
Electrical Installation
Our installer will add an eVAC to your central fuse box or control panel and run a 10mm cable from there to the desired location of your charger. This usually involves drilling holes in your home if the fuse box is location centrally within your home, but don’t panic! We endeavour to make your installation as minimal as possible and will advise on our proposed route to charger before we commence the works.
Your preferred changer will be installed in a convenient location
Before the installation, our team will email you the links to download the Apps you need for your Home Charger and the My Weev App. Our team will talk you through how to charge your car, giving you helpful advice on charging both at home and on our network.

When you choose a Home Charger with Weev, we will give you £50 / €50 Free Credit to use across our ever-expanding network.

- Quote Order: Simply Click "Get Started" button at the top of the page to order your Home Charger
- Pre-installation information: You will be sent a short survey to complete for our team to cross-check all the information you have provided, take payment and book your installation.
- Installation: The technician will install the charging station at the agreed-upon location, connecting it to your home’s electrical panel.
- Testing: The system will undergo testing to ensure it functions correctly and meets safety standards.
- Demonstration: The installer will provide you with a demonstration of how to use the EV charger and address any questions you may have.
Once you’ve placed your home Charger order, the next steps involve installing the Easee app on your phone and creating an account with your email address. After completing this, kindly inform the Weev team, and they will promptly transfer ownership of the charger to your account.
