The price you pay for EV charging depends on your energy provider at the rate you pay and the times you charge.
The type of car you have and it’s the battery size also have an impact
Here’s a few helpful bit’s of information to know about a car charging:
- kW Battery – This is how much charge the battery will hold. The bigger the battery the more charge it will have.
- As a rule of thumb approx. 1kW = 3.5 mil
- A Home Charger chargers at 7.4kW which is approx. 30 mile per hour.
- Charging Speed- The charging speed changes depending on the amount of charge you need.
- 0-20% and 80-100% will be slower to protect the battery.
