Challenge
Andrew Ingredients approached Weev with a clear objective: to upgrade their existing EV charging infrastructure with a faster and more reliable charging solution. At the time, they had only two EV charging stations at their Lisburn office, but with the growth of their EV fleet they were ready to expand their charge points. The company was looking for a more efficient and scalable EV charging solution that could support their business needs and a growing fleet of EVs.
Solution
Weev began by decommissioning the existing chargers and removing them from service. After a thorough review, Weev determined that the site could accommodate the installation of five new EV charging units. Weev installed two 22kW Easee Chargers, providing fast charging capabilities, and three 7.4kW Easee One chargers. This was chosen not only to meet the company’s current needs but also to support future growth as their EV fleet expands. This tailored charging solution also included access to Weev’s powerful Charge Point Management System (CPMS) system, giving Andrew Ingredients complete visibility of their charging activities and costs.
